Tyranno Scare-us is a roller coaster in Dinoland. It appeared in the Season 3 episode, "Roller Coaster".
In the episode, Eugene wanted the gang to ride the roller coaster with him, but they all refuse to because they all think he's a jinx, all that is, except for Arnold. So Arnold goes on the coaster with Eugene and rides it with him to prove to the others that he's not a jinx. But as they were riding it, the roller coaster broke down, causing them to get stranded at the top if its highest drop.
Biography[]
When Arnold and his friends, Gerald, Helga, Phoebe, Curly, Harold, Stinky and Sid get ready to ride Dinoland's roller coaster, Tyranno Scare-us, Eugene wants to ride it with them. But they all refuse to ride it due to Eugene going on it, cause they all think he's a jinx. Arnold however refuses to believe Eugene's a jinx and decides to ride the coaster with him to prove to the others that he's not. So Arnold and Eugene get on the coaster and they start riding it, while the others get worried about Arnold fearing he'll be a goner.
As Arnold and Eugene ride the roller coaster, at first, things went fine with them, as they rode down the coaster tracks. However, as soon as they went through a tunnel, the roller coaster suddenly brakes down, and the first cars of the coaster train broke away from the last two cars that Arnold and Eugene were in, leaving them stranded at the top of the coaster's highest drop.
From down bellow, the people who run the roller coaster call out to the boys through a megaphone and they tell them they've called a cherry picker to get them down. Also from down below, Arnold's friends say through the megaphone that they were right all along about Eugene being a jinx.
Later, when it was sunset, the cherry picker then finally arrived and a fireman named Lucky started getting raised up towards the boys to rescue them. However, as the cherry picker got raised closer to Arnold and Eugene, it suddenly breaks down, leaving Lucky in danger. As Lucky gets scared, Eugene calms him down by making them sing The Itsi-Bitsy Spider together.
By night fall, Lucky felt a little better after he and Eugene sang together, but the cherry picker then started to get closer to falling off. Arnold then finds a rope and tells Eugene to use it to pull Lucky up to them. Eugene at first wasn't sure, fearing something bad will happen thinking he really is a jinx, but Arnold encourages him to do it. So Eugene uses the rope and tosses it down to Lucky, and he and Arnold manage to pull the cherry picker with Lucky on it up towards them and Lucky climbs into the coaster cars. As soon as he does, the cherry picker falls off.
After saving Lucky, the problem finally gets fixed and the roller coaster works again, and Arnold, Eugene and Lucky finally ride down the highest drop and the rest of the roller coaster, and they make it back to the boarding station. As soon as they finally made it back, all the kids cheer and Arnold's friends were proud of Eugene for saving Lucky, and they finally invite him to ride the rides with them. However, as Stinky held Eugene and was about to carry him, he then fell and landed back into the coaster cars and they started moving down the roller coaster again, with Eugene riding it upside down.
