The Arnold Waltz is a short claymation film made by Craig Bartlett in 1990.

Synopsis[]

In concert band practice at school, Arnold (on flute) seated between Harold (on sax) and Helga (on sousaphone) daydreams during the playing of Émile Waldteufel's Les Patineurs - known colloquially as The Skaters' Waltz.

Trivia[]

The music track was produced from a performance of the Ainsworth School band recorded by Homer Groening (Lisa Bartlett's dad) in 1965.

Rhonda first appears in this short. She is shown wearing a blue shirt and having brown hair instead of black, this design would be used in the pilot before being changed for the main series.
