The story of Romeo and Juliet isn't portrayed entirely accurately, though it is possible that Mr. Simmons modified the play script for his class to perform:
The prologue is different.
Mercutio's death is depicted before the balcony scene when it actually occurs later in the story.
Curly (Mercutio) is in the crypt with Romeo and Juliet, when it should be Tybalt (Harold) in there.
Romeo and Juliet actually kiss several times before the death scene, most notably during the balcony scene.
The play doesn't end right when Juliet kills herself, and concludes with the prince saying, "for never was a story of more woe, than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
Nadine's shoes are white when the girls are looking at the call backs.
When Helga drops the book of lines at Phoebe's house it disappears.
In the first scene, after Helga forces Arnold to go away; while Arnold leaves, the lunch lady's body is invisible through the glass on the table.
On opening night, Leichliter's lips don't move when Mr. Simmons turns around towards him.
