The Scheckvision screen reading "30 Days Until Construction Begins"

The Scheckvision Screen was a large jumbotron designed by Future Tech Industries that only appears in Hey Arnold!: The Movie. It made many appearances during the film, showing several FTi ads featuring its former CEO Alphonse Perrier du von Scheck stating "Out with the old, in with the new," "Change is good," and "I've seen the future, and the future is Future Tech Industries" along with countdowns until the destruction of the neighborhood.

Plot[]

The Scheckvision screen is first seen being installed on the building across the street from Sunset Arms. It first reads "30 Days Until Construction Begins", which Sid first declares "wicked awesome", but Arnold says it's terrible. Throughout the film, the monitor shows many FTi advertisements featuring Scheck saying either "Out with the old, in with the new," "Change is good," or "I've seen the future, and the future is Future Tech Industries".

On the day what is supposed to be the destruction of the neighborhood, the jumbotron is counting down the minutes until the construction begins. However, Grandma Gertie escapes from prison and hijacks one of the bulldozers and destroys the others. Bridget hooks a VCR to the screen and Arnold inserts a tape into the VCR, which shows Scheck burning the Tomato Document. Mayor Dixie is furious with Scheck and declares the neighborhood as a national historic landmark never allowed to be demolished, which delights all the citizens. Scheck arrives, ordering his workers to demolish the neighborhood. but they refuse to do so and point to the video on the screen in disgust. An angry mob marches towards Scheck forcing him to reenter his car. When Scheck sees Arnold and Gerald right in front of him he tries to run them over, only to discover that Gertie has stripped the tires off the car. The police then arrive and arrest Scheck. Harold is exhausted due to the sound of the explosion waking him up in the middle of the night. He accidentally sits on Phil's detonator, which ignites the explosives. The building holding the jumbotron is destroyed in the process. Scheck appears on the screen, which is now all cracked and staticky. He repeatedly says "change is good" and his image multiplies until the picture blows out.
