Cultural References[]

  • Sally's Comet is an obvious parody of the real-life Halley's Comet, which passes by Earth every 75 or so years.
  • Hawk Mountain, the first place Arnold, Grandpa and Gerald try to see Sally's Comet, is actually a real place near Allentown, Pennsylvania.
  • The clock tower Big Barney is a reference to London's iconic clock tower Big Ben.
