One of the reasons why Mr. Simmons should be principal is because he's "Teacher of the Year", but that doesn't happen until later in the episode "A Day in the Life of a Classroom".
In the scene when Harold is holding the megaphone, seconds later he is seen waving the flag, yet his voice can still be heard on the megaphone.
At the end when Wartz told Harold to kindly clean up, Wartz had two pairs of eyebrows for a split second.
There are some inconsistencies during the school riot, with the students being in one place to another.
Eugene is seen getting dragged across the hall by a monitor lizard but is shortly seen getting trapped in a locker by Wolfgang.
Helga is seen riding on Park's shoulder (who for some reason has a roasted turkey on his head). However she's shortly seen afterwards with Harold, Maria and Wolfgang launching Brainy and Lila into the air with the school's flag.
Phoebe and Nadine are seen sitting on top of the lockers cheering. Moments later, they're both seen along with Joey getting chased by dogs.
During the montage of Mr. Simmons attempting to make P.S. 118 a better school, he is shown easily removing a school bell from a hook on the wall and hanging a wind chime set in its place, in an attempt to decrease noise and student agitation. In real life, this uninstallation of the bell system would be a difficult feat to perform, as older school bells like P.S. 118 typically uses are generally screwed or bolted onto the wall and wired up to an electrical master clock system programmed to ring the bells at certain times. Many jurisdictions, however, use beeping effects or have banned the school bell system altogether. In October 2010, for instance, Mackie Academy in Stonehaven, Kincardineshire, Scotland, took the move to turn off their school bell system, following criticism that the school bells agitated pupils. According to the headteacher, the corridors became much quieter after the system was introduced. It was hoped that pupils would take more responsibility for ensuring they arrived on time to lessons. A number of other schools in the United Kingdom have made similar decisions and either partially or completely banning the school bell system. Other school systems simply replace the "traditional" school bell with a beeping version.
When the students (except Arnold and Gerald) began rioting at P.S. 118, it's unknown why neither of the other teachers weren't seen trying to calm the students down
