The Potato Clock is an analog alarm clock owned by Arnold. As its' name implies, the clock gets its' power from a potato's electrochemical current, in addition to a set of batteries. The clock's alarm consists of the Arnold figure on top chanting "Hey Arnold! Hey Arnold! Hey Arnold!" repeatedly until the clock is silenced, sometimes accompanied by a typical mechanical alarm clock bell.
It's never stated where the Potato Clock came from, but it's implied that Arnold made it himself, using some of his technological skills. It's also implied that Arnold has a whole set of these alarm clocks, just in case one gets broken (as seen in "The List" and "Arnold's Room").
