From his job interviews, we learn that Oskar is 38 years old, never attained anything higher than an 8th-grade education and was placed last in his class out of a total of 14 students (including himself). Additionally, we learn that Oskar has never held a job before.
This episode takes place before "Oskar Can't Read?", which mentions his status as a paperboy, meaning that Oskar got his job before he learned how to read. This makes little sense, as Oskar would not have been able to read addresses, street signs, or a route list. Therefore, he would not have been able to do his job as a paperboy.
Phil doesn't speak in this episode while Gertie does.
This is the second episode that shows Arnold and Gerald trying to make Arnold’s kite fly. The first time they had kite problems it was in "Arnold's Hat".
Morals:
When you have a job, you have a responsibility.
Don't be lazy and let someone else do the work. People can lose patience with you if you don't put in any effort.
