Lola is a fictional character in the Hey Arnold! TV Series. She is a fashion model for the magazine Large and Lovely, which apparently features plus-size clothing. Ernie Potts falls in love with her after seeing her while wrecking a building. Lola states that in order to keep her figure for the magazine, she has to eat every two hours. Lola also tries to “improve herself” intellectually by reading a new word in the dictionary every day, then attempting to use those words in conversation. She seems to focus on work as she said the date she and Ernie had was the most fun she had since she could remember. She takes her job rather seriously as she was concerned that the height gap between her and Ernie could seem awkward (likely in fear of her job). Since her date with Ernie was the most fun in a while, she either did not have many dates or even any dates before or had rather bad ones or not so good ones. She apparently has a lot of dresses she was several in just one episode where most characters in the show (as with most cartoons) have a bunch of identical outfits they wear in every episode or almost every episode.

Personality[]

She’s a slow talking sweet soft-spoken person. She’s open-minded. Initially, she seemed a bit shallow when she met Ernie but still agreed to go out on a date with him despite their size difference, but in the end realizing the error in her ways and asked  even to have dinner with him but understood if he never wanted to see her again. She has a good sense of humor such as laughing when Ernie got hit with a ball. She was happy to see Ernie used the word noble. She is grateful when other help her, such as Ernie giving her her book she forgot. She's rather helpful herself as mentioned by Ernie she helped a kid get a drink from a drinking fountain. She has a gentle nature as she thinks it's evil to hit a mole, but still enjoyed Whack-A-Mole, since the moles were fake, with great excitement (likely because she doesn't seem to have much fun in long time as she stayed after her and Ernie's date). She seems a bit naive due to not knowing what Whack-A-Mole is and wondering if the moles were real. She could have a bit of OCD as she said would go crazy without her chapter book not knowing how it would end as well as a bit stressed from having to eat to maintain her figure, but nonetheless enjoys her job.
