Jerry Richardson was an animator who worked on Hey Arnold! as a character designer during early Season 1 and later returned as the art director of Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie. Richardson worked in animation for 32 years, contributing to Rugrats, The Simpsons and more. From 2016 to his death, he taught animation at California State, Long Beach. Richardson died on May 17, 2018, at the age of 52.[1]
