Inga Perlmutter is a fictional character in the Hey Arnold! TV Series.
Biography[]
Inga was once a nanny from Switzerland who been hired by Big Bob to cook, clean the house and keep an eye on Helga to which Helga wanted Inga to get fired. She was later be fired when Helga duped her father into thinking that Inga has stole his lucky belt, due of Helga becoming tired of Inga controlling every aspect of her life.
However, soon after Helga was criticized by her friends for framing Inga and had a dream about Inga being jobless and homeless, Helga felt guilty and found Inga in a bench in the park and asked her if she found a new job, to which Inga replied she hasn't and Helga finally confessed to her she was the one who framed her of stealing, but Inga was already aware of that, told Helga that wasn't apology for what she did and now had to face the consequences, which confused Helga and Inga called her an angry girl who didn't let anyone to help her and she now must live with her unhappiness and took a cab, pressumably to the airport, leaving her embroidery behind, which was picked up by Helga.
Sometime later, Inga returned to Switzerland and sent a postcard to Helga in the mail, telling her she's happy to have returned to Switzerland and trusted that everything in the Pataki house was exactly the way she left it, and a sad Helga went to her room and sew in the embroidery Inga left, which was one of the things she wanted to teach Helga.
