While trying to pry open Helga's locket, Arnold points to a shish kebob stick that they could use. Phil says that it was last used by his grandfather on July 16, 1926. However, in the episode "Grandpa's Birthday", Phil states that his grandfather died in 1921.
When Helga spies on Phil and Arnold at the top of the window on the roof, Helga's right sleeve on her arm is pink instead of white like her outfit.

When this episode along with "Sid and Germs" was originally intended to air, on the Rainbow Lines era on September 21, 2008 as re-release, Nickelodeon began airing "Crabby Author/Rich Kid" instead. The network did not catch the mistake until just after this episode began, when they switched to the regularly scheduled "Grudge Match/Polishing Rhonda". After this gaffe, On April 12, 2009 as re-release, the entire half-hour segments was finally aired in full.
