This is the only episode where Nadine has a more significant role than Rhonda (who doesn't even speak in the episode). Every other episode Nadine appears in, she's either just a satellite character to Rhonda or she and Rhonda have equally significant roles.
In an interview, Craig confirmed that Arnold flirted with Helga at the end of the episode. Tuck Tucker came up with the 'spraying water' scene.
The cop in this episode both resembles and sounds like William Shatner. He would also later appear in the episode Summer Love.
Innuendo: When Nadine's pet cockroaches are accidentally let loose, one of the roaches is seen landing in a woman's cleavage.
Foreshadowing: When Helga says she needs to come up with a plan, Nadine shows Helga her cockroaches. Helga would later come up with a plan to get out of paying the bill at Chez Paris by having Nadine bring over her pet cockroaches to infest the restaurant.
Irony: When Nadine attempts to show Helga her box of cockroaches, Helga has no interest in seeing them and tells Nadine to go away. Later on, Helga ends up having Nadine bring her cockroaches to Chez Paris to get out of paying the bill.

Although this and "Phoebe Skips" are season 4 episodes, both are still NTSC-pitched in PAL countries despite using the PAL speed-up.
While Arnold, Gerald, Helga and Phoebe are punished at the end of the episode, it's unknown if Nadine got punished as well as she isn't seen washing dishes with the other four. Though, she likely got away her actions as she was forced by Helga to bring her cockroaches to infest Chez Paris or received a different puishment off screen.

This episode is more or less a sequel to "Arnold's Valentine": Both Chez Paris and Chez Pierre appear (and are mixed up by Helga), and the table the four kids are at is the same table Arnold and "Cecile" shared.
Who knows, maybe the reason Helga mixed these up is because of the events of "Arnold's Valentine".
