At the end of the episode, it shows Chocolate Boy's new addiction to the radishes Arnold gave him as he refuses to put them away when Arnold suggests he had enough already. But in his background appearances in Hey Arnold! The Movie, "April Fool's Day" and Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie, he seems to be back to eating chocolate.
It’s hinted that Chocolate Boy's nanny didn't merely move away, but was sick and died, and Chocolate Boy couldn't bring himself to admit the truth. Had she simply moved, she still could've called in, or sent letters or birthday cards, or even visited, which might've helped Chocolate Boy not fall into his chocolate addiction as far as he did.
Even if Chocolate Boy knew, he would've been far too young to really understand what was going on.
This was the last episode to air in 2001 as the show went through a year-long hiatus before returning in February of 2002 with the episode "Harold vs. Patty".
