Olga volunteers for the organization "Big Sis, Little Sis", this is a reference to the non-profit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
During the boat scene at the end, Helga is wearing a dark pink dress with a white Peter Pan collar and a dark pink bow. This is very similar to her original appearance in the Claymation shorts and in the pilot episode.
Throughout the closing credits, various night sounds such as a cat meowing are heard while Olga and Lila hug.
The song that Olga and Lila sing on the rowboat is “On Moonlight Bay”. This is the second time that Lila sings that song. The first time she sung that song it was with her classmates in the school concert in “Gerald's Tonsils”.
