  • Iggyus Caesar (Arnold Betrays Iggy storyboard cover)
This episode's storyboard cover art parodies the assassination of Julius Caesar; it depicts Arnold (Brutus) stabbing Iggy (Julius).
  • Gerald was not watching Arnold's humiliation, even though he was laughing at Iggy with Rhonda. This may be a subtle suggestion that Gerald is a true friend to Arnold and would never laugh at his humiliation.
  • Stinky tells his friends every morning why he likes lemon pudding.
  • In Iggy's apartment, there is a small fish mounted on the wall above the couch named "Trigger".
  • Due to Iggy accusing Arnold for what Sid and Stinky did, this episode gives out a bad moral by showing it is okay to betray your friends.
  • Morals:
    • Two wrongs don't make a right.
    • Resorting to humiliation isn't worth earning forgiveness.
    • When keeping a secret, do a better job at it and don't try to give hints - people will figure it out eventually.

Story Analysis[]

  • Though Arnold's glare in the end could indicate a newfound hatred for Iggy for the former's humiliation, Arnold is shown to associate with him in later episodes as one of his extended friend circle like with most named 4th grade background characters on such occasions as sports and even social gatherings. This very well indicates that whatever potential conflict this episode could've preluded to has been ended from either Arnold allowing bygones to be bygones, given Arnold's nature, or even (considering that neither boys are ever teased or taunted for their predicaments in any later episodes again and even continue to be considered cool amongst their peers) enough time having passed to be as though none of these events ever happened.
